Her YouTube career started in 2009 when her friend from school told her about the platform. On July 9, 2009, Sarai posted her first video titled „Pizza, Ranch, and Cherry Coke“. After watching videos of Michelle Phan, one of the pioneer Beauty YouTuber, Sarai decided to create videos such as makeup tutorials, room tours, DIY and Q&A videos, vlogs e.t.c.

In July 2011, her channel reached 10,000 subscribers. Two months later, „The Wall Street Journal“ published a story about a teenager that rock the YouTube community. A twelve-year-old has become an internet sensation. In December 2011, the number of her subscribers tripled.

Sarai Jones is born in Seattle to Paul and Nicole Jones. In the video titled „Draw my life“, she described her childhood before YouTube fame. Her family lived in Washington, but her mother wanted to be closer to her sister and brother, so they moved to Arizona.

Unfortunately, her father lost his job so they had to return to Seattle, and live with Sarai`s grandmother. On August 15, 2008, she got a brother named Neiko. A year later she began posting videos on YouTube. In middle school, she spent more time doing videos than studying, so her grades weren’t well.

Her parents noticed that something is going on with her so they took her to the counselor. He helped her to overcome the crisis she was in, and stay positive. A few years later Sarai dropped out of regular school and finished school online.

For a while, she lived in Los Angeles, but she decided to return home because she feels better when her parents are close to her. Sarai was in a relationship with influencer Jaeger Scheppe, but they broke up in 2015. From 2017 to 2018 she dated Jordon Willis.
